Note: The Color StyleWriter Pro Utility must be run after replacing the power supply, controller board or the carriage board.
General Information
Copy the Utility to a floppy and insert the floppy into the computer to which the printer is connected. Note the port which you connect the printer to. The Utility will ask which port the printer is connected to. Enter the Service Mode, put the printer into EEPROM Download Mode and launch the Utility. Select the proper port and the item which was replaced (power supply, controller board or carriage board). Enter the appropriate values and click the "Send to printer" button. The printer will emit two four tone chords when the parameters have been received.

To enter the Service Mode:
Hold down the power and select keys and plug in the printer. Note: The printer will emit a four tone beep when it is in the service
mode.
To put the printer into EEPROM Download Mode:
Press the select key until the three rightmost LEDs light up. Press the power key. The printer is now in EEPROM download mode.
To Launch the Utility:
Launch the Utility and enter in the appropriate values and click "Send to printer". Click the Quit in the dialog box. Note: The printer will emit two four tone chords when the parameters have been received. Press the power key to turn the printer off and unplug the printer.
